Annually on the first weekend in July, the Classic Motorcycle Club runs their 1000 Bike Show, a highlight on the motorcycling calendar and an event at which all shapes and sizes of new and historic motorcycles compete for a prizes in a variety of classifications. The event is typically supported by around 10 000 visitors who come to see the many and varied motorcycles on display, buy motorcycle related merchandise, show off their own motorcycles and enjoy fellowship with their friends and those from other motorcycle clubs.
For the past 5 years the CMC has kindly appointed the Rotary Club of Knights Pendragon to run the bar and draught beer carousels, dispensing a wide selection of drinks to the shows visitors. The payment for this bar duty is essential funding to the Rotary Club with its numerous projects.
