Last Wednesday evening, ππ±π¨π₯π’π¬π’ ππ‘ππ₯π ππ§π’ shared his inspiring journey towards becoming a commercial pilot. Mxolisiβs journey with Rotary began in 2018 when, as a student of at Tersia King Learning Academy, he attended a Rotary Leadership camp, which played a pivotal role in shaping his mindset and ambition.
In 2022, Mxolisi joined one of South Africaβs leading airlines as a Passenger Handling Agent, where he was responsible for check-in and boarding coordination.
Within a year, he was promoted to an Operations role, contributing to on-time performance and the smooth preparation of flights.
Driven by his commitment to growth, Mxolisi took on a new challenge and became a Cabin Crew Member, a position he currently holds with pride.
Alongside his professional career, Mxolisi has been pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. Through personal sacrifice and dedication, he funded his own flight training and has successfully obtained his Private Pilot License.
