Denny will talk to the club about the serious drug problem facing our country and the consequences of this to life as we know it. In his talk, Denny will share the story of his former life as a drug trafficker, running drugs into China, being caught and then sentenced to death. How he managed to get his case transferred to Hong Kong, have his sentence commuted to life imprisonment and eventually being allowed to come home to South Africa.
Denny now age 52 and free from addiction, is a modest man who runs the carpentry business at Legae La Nnete (a Christian orientated re-integration centre for those recovering from substance abuse). He is a father of two daughters and doing what he can to catch up on lost time with them.
Guests are welcome. The R100 cost (payable to the treasurer) includes a meal. Please advise Ray Hewson (by email to “Info”) of guests/apologies by 10am on the Monday preceding the meeting for catering purposes.
