. Knights Pendragon recently tested the new pizza oven installed for the men resident at Legae la Nnete. Built on the side of Legae’s new covered meeting and recreation facility on the Muldersdrift located farm, Rotarians treated the some 30 residents present to a pizza lunch. Gordon Dewar, manager of Legae la Nnete explained that the intention of the pizza oven is to provide the residents with a creative diversion to be used on special occasions and visits by friends and family.
Legae la Nnete, located in the Muldersdrift area, is a reintegration centre for men who have suffered a setback in their lives. The centre houses residents who are committed to and in the process of learning to manage their various addictions and gain income earning skills in order to put their lives on a sustainable path to their returning to mainstream community life as positive, contributing citizens.
